Accessibility

Runway Paper is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Concretely, that means:

Structure — semantic HTML with proper landmarks and heading order, so screen readers can navigate every page. Images — alternative text on every editorial image; it's a required field in our publishing system, not an afterthought. Keyboard — everything on the site can be reached and operated without a mouse, with visible focus indicators. Motion — all animation is disabled for readers with a reduced-motion preference set. Contrast — our text colors meet or exceed AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a checkbox. If anything on the site is hard to use with assistive technology — or hard to use at all — tell us at hello@runwaypapermagazine.com and we'll fix it.
