Situationist

The name borrows from the Situationist International, and the politics are not decorative: Rusadze’s collections process Georgian identity — traditional dress codes, Orthodox austerity, the texture of post-Soviet adolescence — through a body-conscious lens of boned corsetry, blade-sharp shoulders, and liquid draping. The work helped put Tbilisi on the fashion map as one of the most vital scenes outside the traditional capitals.

Celebrity adoption gave the label reach, but its official-calendar debut in 2026 marks the more meaningful arrival: a Georgian independent house showing at Paris Fashion Week on its own terms, carrying a national story the schedule has rarely made room for.
