Bösch and Gadient met studying fashion in Basel and built the label in Berlin on techniques that read as controlled damage: burned and melted hems, slashed knits, garments twisted off-grain and re-anchored with couture precision. The effect is clothes that look survived-in — sexy in a way that feels earned rather than styled.

The duo’s following runs deep in music and art — their shows cast from that world — and collaborations, most visibly with Puma, have carried the house’s warped elegance into sportswear. A decade in, Ottolinger has held its position as one of the Paris calendar’s most convincing independents: deconstruction with a body in it, Berlin grit finished to a Swiss standard.
