Cecilie Bahnsen

Bahnsen trained at London’s Royal College of Art and in the studios of Erdem and John Galliano before returning home to build what she calls “everyday couture”: cloud-like dresses in matelassé and organza, puffed sleeves, open backs, and hand-worked textile development done largely in-house. The look — romantic volume worn with sneakers — became shorthand for Copenhagen fashion’s global moment.

Her recurring collaboration with Asics turned that contrast into a signature product, quilted hybrid trainers that sell out on drop. On the Paris schedule, Bahnsen holds an unusual lane: a Scandinavian romantic among the tailors, proving each season that softness, rendered with couture discipline, is its own kind of authority.
