Courrèges
Founded in Paris in 1961 by André Courrèges, the house is a touchstone of Space Age modernism — geometric mini-shapes, vinyl, white and silver — codes revived for a new generation under Nicolas Di Felice from 2021 to 2026. Drew Henry, the South African-born, Central Saint Martins–trained designer formerly of Celine, JW Anderson, Phoebe Philo, and Burberry, was appointed creative director in May 2026; this Paris show is his debut collection for the house.

CourrègesAndré Courrèges trained as an engineer and cut clothes like one: his mid-1960s “Moon Girl” collections — flat white boots, goggle sunglasses, trapeze minidresses in double-faced wool — put the space race on the body and made him, alongside Mary Quant, a central claimant in the invention of the miniskirt. For a stretch of the sixties, Courrèges white was the future.
After decades of dormancy, the house was rebuilt under the Pinault family’s Artémis, and Di Felice’s five-year run turned it into one of Paris’s hottest tickets — vinyl minis and hooded second-skin jersey adopted wholesale by a club-going generation born decades after the originals. Henry inherits a revival at full speed, and his debut this season is one of the week’s most-watched openings.
