Cameo de Boré is the St. Louis clutch house of Cameo DeBoré Phillips, founded in 2015 after she couldn’t find bags with the presence of the structured clutches she loved on screen — so she built them oversized, functional, and unmistakable. The handcrafted line counts placements from Neiman Marcus to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Phillips designed her way out of a shopping problem: the structured, cinematic clutches she wanted didn’t exist at real-life scale, so she built them — oversized enough to actually carry a life, sculptural enough to read across a room. Every bag is handcrafted, and the placements validate the instinct: Neiman Marcus shelves and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner circuit.

An accessories house on a runway bill is a statement in itself; Cameo de Boré shows Saturday Evening at Espace Cléry on October 3 in The Bureau’s Paris program.
